Are you one of the thousands of people thinking about camel toe?
If you read my blog entry yesterday “Camelflage Your Camel Toe? Oh, Please!“ you saw the Google Trends graph showing people were hot for camelflage. At the time, I had no idea what it was or why all the buzz. (I’ll admit, I have seen camel toe before, but I hadn’t heard of camelflage.) I’ll explain more below, but first…
Having a little fun with the topic that I’d never thought of as a problem or a big deal before, I created this 34 second YouTube video for yesterday’s post:

Last evening while my wife and I were driving to Barnes and Nobel I was rambling on as I often do about Internet marketing. You see, I eat, drink, and dream about Internet marketing, and I’ve found the best time to talk about it with my wife is when were on Route 128 driving at 70 mph. (My wife isn’t as interested in marketing as I am.)
I was excitedly explaining how my little 34 second video on camel toe was getting so much traffic and how much fun it was to see that people were watching my video. But, I had a big question…
I wanted to know what caused the buzz in the first place. How did camelflage get in Google’s Hot Trends? I figured that if I could solve that problem, and could predictably get people to search for a product (any product) on Google, that I’d be a marketing genius. And, then it happened – - I got a hint at the answer…
While looking through the stacks of books at B&N I got a text message on my Blackberry saying that I had a new comment on my “Camelflage” YouTube video. Shannon, the founder and president of Camelflage commented that, “This is an awesome video!! I like the music. Just an FYI, Camelflage was on Howard Stern today. That’s why all the buzzzzzzz “
So, that’s it! You’ve got to hear the rest of her story.
You’ve heard enough from me on this subject. I don’t see camel toe as a problem when I go to yoga class. I do not recommend the product. But, hey, I’m a man. Enough said.
So, stop reading what I have to say, and watch the video by the founder of Camelflage, and hear the story of the fascinating discovery she made in yoga class:
